SUPPORT FOR WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS

The road to success while following a weight loss plan can be a bumpy one.  It is extremely difficult to travel this path alone.  I believe it is always necessary to have a person or team along for the ride to support you through your journey in order to reach your ultimate destination...
First and foremost, having a coach or trainer to help guide your path to weight loss success is a must.  The experienced and trained professional knows how to safely and effectively help you get results and succeed.  We all know that proper diet and exercise will help you lose weight and improve your health.  But what most people don’t realize is how much or how often they need to train.  It can be easy to over train, which can lead to injuries and a huge loss of motivation.  Utilizing a fitness coach’s expertise will ensure you stay on track and reach your goals safely and effectively.

Second, having a spouse or friend support you and even train with you is another important factor to reaching your fitness goals.  On those days where you want to skip the gym and head straight to happy hour, having a workout partner to hold you accountable to meet at the gym and get your training session in are huge.  It also helps if you’re fortunate to have someone at home helping you to eat clean and prepare your meals.  If your spouse or significant other is supporting you by eating the same clean diet, it makes it that much easier for you to stay on track by not having to watch someone else indulge in a chocolaty desert while you snack on some almonds and fruit.

Third, exercising in a group can help push you to train a little harder in each workout helping you to get results that much quicker.  I have been training both large and small groups of people together and one of the main reasons each individual trains in the group is for the extra support in and out of each workout.  They all encourage each other to finish each exercise down to the last rep.  It can be easy to skip a few reps on your own but not when your friends are motivating you to finish that last push-up.
